Ray-Ran MFR100 Manual Basic Melt Flow System
The MFR100 is a new, cost-effective model from Ray-Ran. It complies with GOST 11645-73, ISO 1133 and ASTM D1238 (Method A). The manually operated testing procedure is simple and user-friendly. The molten polymer is extruded through a calibrated orifice (die) from the device’s heating chamber, using pre-set temperature and pressure conditions created by a weight load. Loads of 0.50; 1.00; 1.05; 1.20; 2.16; 3.80; 5.00; 10.00; 12.5 and 21.60 kg. For heavy weights, an additional pneumatic loader is fitted to the device for automatic weight loading. By default, the standard supply package includes a 2.16 kg weight.
